Mountain Ute / Navajo

Mac Coyote comes from the southwest corner of Colorado, a place called Towaoc, Colorado a land dotted with the remants of the Anasazi ruins and a Mountain that resembles an Indian laying down looking up to the heavens. The mountain is called Ute Mountain Ute.

"In school I was always encouraged to do art, being Native American and painting is something I cannot live without. Today my inspiration comes from God my wife Cecelia our children Isaac and Faith and everyone whom we can share the art with. My paintings will convey texture, direction, and all of the neccesary elements that will make my art come alive, I work in many styles and implore different tecniques onto canvas or paper."

People, nature animals and abstract compositions may be found in Coyote's work. Coyote's work is captivating and detailed to the very brushstroke. You might find his work at one of these shows or at his little paint shop near the "THE SLEEPING UTE MOUNTAIN".
