Indian Summer is the largest American Indian festival of its kind in the country. We feature a juried fine arts show, competition Pow wow, 5 stages of contemporary and traditional entertainment, marketplace of 100 craft vendors, 30 food vendors, lacrosse competitions, traditional villages, cultural craft demonstrations and a natural path herbal area. The Indian Summer Music Award and show has gained national recognition and respect as it enters its sixth year. The Circle of Art too promises to reawaken the senses of a wide public to the wonderfully varied and resplendent art forms of Native North America.

Indian Summer Festival offers a rare opportunity to glimpse into the multifaceted world of Native Americans, as members of many different tribes come together to share and display their rich and diverse history and culture.

See live demonstrations of traditional skills such as beadwork, finger weaving, bow and arrow making, pottery, carving, basket weaving and more. Learn about traditional healing methods and herbal medicines in the "Natural Path Area". And experience Native American history coming alive through intriguing presentations and displays.
